The DPO4000 comes with two convenient ways to control the instrument from a PC’s USB port, SignalExpress Tektronix Edition and OpenChoice Desktop.

National Instruments SignalExpress Tektronix Edition (TE) is designed to provide a USB plug & play experience for test engineers who need to quickly acquire and analyze measurement signals.  After you install SignalExpress (TE) simply connect your DPO4000 to your PC using a standard printer style USB cable and you will be acquiring waveform data from your scope.  SignalExpress (TE) combines the optimal balance of measurement functionality and ease of use to assist you in streamlining your design and test processes. There are a wide variety of built-in analysis features available for immediate use in SignalExpress (TE).
